Founder of Actuable

After years of providing companies and political parties with guidance on their Internet strategies, Francisco Polo founded Actuable.es two years ago. This platform, designed to enable «the public to join forces against injustice», has merged with Change.org to reach millions of people around the world.

Francisco Polo describes himself as a social entrepreneur, "I love working for the people who need me most, using my skills to put a stop to injustice and creating tools to empower as many people as possible so that they can do the same".

He is the founder of Actuable, a platform enabling people to start and win campaigns for social change, which became an overnight hit. It opened to the public in September 2010 and in less than a year had 2,000,000 registered users, making it the fastest growing start-up company in Spanish history and, without a doubt the fastest growing public platform ever. For this reason he received the Young Social Entrepreneur Prize this year.

Actuable and Change.org, reached an agreement in 2011 to join together and create the largest online activism platform in the world. Francisco Polo is currently the Managing Director for Spain of Change.org.
