Mar Cabra combines her job as a reporter for the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) with the running of Fundación Ciudadana Civio, a non-profit organisation that uses technology to encourage active civic responsibility, information transparency and open data. She has a Degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University, and a Master’s Degree in Investigative Journalism from Columbia University (New York), which she attended with a Fulbright Scholarship. She has worked for the BBC, CNN+, El Nuevo Herald/The Miami Herald and laSexta Noticias. Her investigative reports have been published in The International Herald Tribune, Le Monde, El País, El Mundo, The Huffington Post and on the U.S. public network PBS, among others.
